PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Select a good flat surface, potting bench or table.
Using a Top Quality Potting mix, fill the FLOWER TUBE to the first four slits at the bottom of the tube and compress the soil.
Push the first seedling from the outside through one of the bottom slits in the tube. The seedling should then be sitting on top of the soil. Repeat with other seedlings.
Firm down the seedlings so that they are facing slightly upwards and then add more potting soil to the level of the second slits.
You should now place the Plastic Watering Tube exactly in the centre of the tube so that the top of the tube is level with the top of the FLOWER TUBE. This will now ensure that all seedlings have an even distribution of water to prevent against drying out.
Use the same procedure to fill the tube to the third row of slits and plant four more seedlings.
Now that you have planted the twelve seedlings, firm down the soil by gently banging the bottom of the tube on a firm hard surface and the soil will be totally compressed.
You can now plant up to four more seedlings in the top of tube in between each handle strap and then gently sprinkle until surplus water drains through the holes in the bottom of the FLOWER TUBE
Use a Patio Hook to hang the FLOWER TUBE in the chosen location. For excellent growing results you can fit a swivel to the FLOWER TUBES handles and rotate regulary to give plants and even distribution of light.
It is a good practice to gently water into the plastic watering tube and in the top of the FLOWER TUBE daily, for around 14 days until your seedlings are established. Continue to water daily and feed with liquid fertiliser every two weeks, or if you are busy gardener, you can use slow release fertilizer.
For the very best results, we recommend the use of Top Quality Potting Soil, and on very hot and windy days be sure to keep the plants moist.
